A massive thank you to everyone for hitting 500 followers
My Medium journey has been just as chaotic as my life in the past few months since initially joining the program properly late last year. In particular, I have been unable to be as consistent as I would have liked due to other commitments, which make me appreciate each and every one of you even more. A sincere thank you to every last one of you is not only due but so well deserved in each and every instance.
Dealing with my sporadic releases of articles and lack of a proper schedule in my writing, yet continuing to follow my blog and reading my pieces as they emerge without any warning. I could not ask for a better community here on Medium to help me further my creativity and exploration of the topics and themes which I hold so close to my heart.
I had initially planned a piece like this upon reaching the hundred follower mark. Yet as you may have noticed by the sheer number of times I make use of the word chaotic, my disorganization got in the way.
Yet going back to my first ever posts in this wonderful community and my initial three followers, I cannot thank you enough for reading, clapping, and commenting on my posts. All while enjoying the journey I am upon to become a better person and also hopefully a better writer throughout my writing, editing, and publishing process. This fantastic community of writers, readers, and publishers has given me immense degrees of inspiration, advice, and wonderful comments inspiring me to continue to hone my craft.
This platform in allowing me to turn a hobby I love into an area in which I could get paid and actively help others through my words is a fantastic one. Yet it would be nothing without all of you supporting and guiding me along the way, a contribution that truly makes the community what it is. I hope to continue to improve my writing during this journey and would love if you could continue to follow my progress here and hopefully share my novel with you all at some time in the near future.
Thank you again for everything I have mentioned above and I look forward to continuing to contribute to this wonderful forum of ideas, while also reading as many of your pieces as I can in the meantime.
